After pulling apart pieces of v.18, now we’ll zoom out and look at it in its entirety. We’ll pick up from last week’s study on “arche” and Lordwilling, wrap up this segment with truths we will stand upon for life

a. for the leadership to maintain faithful Biblical adherence in the ministry of the Word
b. for a more hospitable love toward newcomers who come and go intermittently
c. for a pervasive pursuit to magnify the glory of God and not the vanity of self

d. for depth in genuine fellowship between believers in this body, especially when the demographics of the group are occasionally shifting

in spite of difficult circumstances for all of us… jer in boot camp,
mon in applications, mike in rough adversity… quite a fitting time
for our “trust in God thursday” this week as we pick up from last
week’s lesson on v. 16 of colossians 1.

we’ll be listening to two short sermons - one on Ruth/Naomi and
another on Peter’s arrest and the early church - both on the topic of
God’s sovereign providence over circumstances

It will be every Sunday for the whole month of Oct. 8:30am please be on time.

In other news we also have to opportunity to proclaim the birth of our KING Jesus. During the month of Dec. our church will be celebrating the birth of our dear Lord! Christmas celebration! The date of the Cel. will be the 20th. I need a head count of all those that can participate! The sooner the better. We need to figure out what kind of skit we’ll be doing and practice it. The skit itself should only take about 5-6min. So yeah if you’ve got a natural nack for acting or if you don’t it’s all good! It will be a good time of fun and fellowship with a purpose!

This coming Sunday will be the Church Prep party for the next day Paint party. Sunday will be the day teams will wipe or wash walls and tape. If you can make it to this please contact us asap! thanks! On Monday morning they will move on to painting the church, great fun! If you can make it to that also let us know a head of time! Thanks!

This week we will be feasting and hanging out! Food/Games/quality fellowship, all out good bonding time. Kick back, relax, and o_O DUMPLINGS! sweatshop style. Mass produce dumplings, Eat be marry and have a ball with games and laughter! This will be a time of celebration and goodbye.

This will be Jeremy B. Wong’s last fellowship at GGCRC for a while, so if you feel compelled come one down or up or sideways, it’ll be great! This will be a good time to bless and pray for our dear brother In Christ Jesus!
